Linda Alvarez
Linda’s been with us since 2009, and has been a dental assistant for over 35 years! With an eye for details and an artistic flair, Linda brings something unique to each interaction she has with patients.
From x-rays to digital scans, to assisting with applying braces, Linda can combine her years in the field and her dedication to learning new techniques with her caring nature to present patients with a confident, competent orthodontic experience.
In her spare time, she loves watching her kids play soccer, traveling, and creating art out of recycled objects.
Katrina Fischer
A Cincinnati native, Katrina is our longest-serving team member, having been with us for over 31 years! Katrina isn’t a fan of sweating the small stuff and keeps her eye on long-term patient goals as a clinical coordinator and inventory manager.
She also works chairside and fills in assisting clinicians as needed. Katrina is compassionate and dedicated and thrives on helping those in need. As long as they don’t need anything while Duke is playing!
Aside from college basketball, she loves birdwatching and antiquing, and has quite the green thumb. When she’s not working, Katrina enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends, and especially her grandchildren.
Heather Henson
Although Heather is one of our newer team members, she’s been assisting in orthodontics for over twenty years. Heather’s positive attitude makes an impression around the office every day. She assists with braces placements, monthly adjustments, x-rays, and scans.
When she’s not working, Heather loves volunteering with the Mary Rose Mission, helping hand out warm meals from their kitchen. She also enjoys hanging out with her husband and two teens.
Cathy Johnson, RDH
Cathy has been a part of our team for over a decade now but has been in the dentistry field for over thirty years. This Super Grammy (we’re allowed to call her that) gets to be part of the best day for most braces patients - the day they come off!
Her experience and competency also come into play as she works with both patients and parents on how to achieve maximum oral health, while in braces and out of them.
Cathy’s love of serving others is an asset in the office and out of it. She’s active in her local Women’s Ministry. She spends time with family and friends, investing in something very important to her - a legacy of compassion.
Her faith, friendliness, and kindness are traits every patient benefits from!
Mary Lynn Laugherty
A Chattanooga native, Mary Lynn has been with us for twenty years, and is very versatile around the office, handling everything from welcoming and following up with new patients to technical support.
With over three decades of orthodontic experience, Mary Lynn combines her knowledge and experience with a kind, caring and compassionate approach.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her growing family and traveling coast to coast to connect with her extended family.
Cheryl O’Neill
Cheryl is one of the most senior members of our team, having worked here for nearly thirty years! An almost lifelong Cincinnatian, Cheryl’s positivity around the office is contagious, and she won’t settle for anything less than making smiles.
She has a knack for remembering names and faces and is one of our social butterflies. Cheryl goes to great lengths to ensure our patients feel like they’ve been heard and had their questions answered.
When Cheryl isn’t working, she can often be found spending time with family, volunteering at a local homeless shelter, or taking time out for healthy activity.
Clifton Thacker
Clifton joined the Thacker team about a year ago, and we love having him around! With a great eye for detail, dedication to patients, and a fun-loving personality, he contributes to both the efficiency of our team, as well as fostering the kind of positive atmosphere we work to create for each person that walks through our door.
Outside of work, Clifton is working towards finishing college and loves hanging out with his family and friends.
Kate Yeardley
Kate’s been with us for almost twenty years, and we couldn’t keep the office running without her.
On any given day, she’s helping new patients with consults and insurance questions, posting payments and prepping contracts, billing insurance companies, and filling in on the phones and at the front desk as needed. It’s a good thing she’s as athletic as she is!
With a keen attention to detail, Kate keeps us all in order. Because she’s such a people person, we don’t even mind if she has to boss us around sometimes, especially when it comes to remembering to recycle.
Outside of work, Kate loves hanging out with family, playing volleyball, and if she can manage both at the same time, that’s even better!
Sarah Annis
Sarah is our newest orthodontic technician, and we’re so excited to have her as part of the Thacker team! Born in nearby Ft. Wayne, but a longtime Cincinnatian, Sarah has been in orthodontics for almost twenty years.
She has lots of experience in helping to build beautiful smiles. Patients love how friendly and gentle she is, and we love how she’s always looking out for the little details in things!
When she’s not working, Sarah devotes her free time to her two daughters and her husband and hangs out with friends when she can.
Jamie Locher
Jamie has been a part of our team since the spring of 2019 and brings 22 years of orthodontic experience. She's compassionate, fun and detail-oriented.
Jamie strives for every patient to leave feeling positive and encouraged. In her spare time she enjoys going to the gym, spending time with her two sons, two dogs, extended family and also participates in the short term foster program with the Clermont County Animal Shelter.
Myra Schulte
After spending many years with the practice, Myra has recently retired.
